SETU Arena, located on the West Campus (Carriganore), is a premier, elite-standard sports destination dedicated to providing world-class training facilities for students, athletes, and the general public. We move away from the "basic fitness club" model to provide a comprehensive, high-performance athletic environment specializing in Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning, and Multi-Sport Excellence. Our facility features a sprawling, state-of-the-art gym floor equipped with Matrix and Life Fitness cardio, professional-grade Olympic lifting platforms, and an extensive resistance training zone. Led by a team of highly qualified sports scientists and personal trainers, we offer a diverse range of programs including High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Yoga, and specialized athletic conditioning. At SETU Arena, we pride ourselves on our professional, inspiring, and inclusive atmosphere where we provide the same elite-level facilities used by inter-county teams and professional athletes to every member of the community.
